About The Role

Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced Information Technology Operations Supervisor for its' Regional Cyber Center-Europe program.

Location: Wiesbaden, Germany

Peraton is seeking an Information Technology Operations Supervisor to join our team at the Regional Cyber Center-Europe. This role provides technical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic guidance for mission-critical IT services supporting Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO).

In This Role, You Will:
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and development of IT operational environments.
  • Develop client/server strategies and supporting architectural designs.
  • Research emerging technologies and advise on procurement related to processing, storage, data access, and application development.
  • Create strategies for short- and long-term resource planning, including hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Measure system usage, analyze workload trends, and forecast future resource needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team responsible for configuring, deploying, patching, and maintaining ~400 RedHat servers across three network enclaves.
  • Manage multiple Elastic clusters supporting DCO services.
  • Provide weekly and monthly project, metrics, and compliance briefings to customers.
  • Support application and data development efforts enabling Defensive Cyber Operations.
  • Collaborate with Defensive Operations and Cyber Center stakeholders to plan, build, test, and deploy new services.
  • Coordinate with data center owners to install, configure, troubleshoot, or decommission servers and associated services.
  • Oversee RMF and STIG compliance for all servers and services; maintain POA&Ms and meet DoD compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Business Administration and 6 years of experience in Systems/Network Engineering or Systems/Network Administration. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must meet TESA eligibility, which requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of specialized experience,
    • OR Associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience,
    • OR a major industry certification plus 7 years of specialized experience
  • Certification requirements:
    • Active DoD 8140 certification (DCWF 802 Advanced), such as CCISO, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or other approved certifications.
    • Must maintain contract labor category certification.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance or Tier 5 Secret investigation.
Preferred:
  • Prior management or team-lead experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Elastic, Kafka, Linux, Network IDS, GigaMon
    • GitLab, PodMan, SaltStack, RedHat IdM, Keycloak
    • NGINX, VMware
    • Bash scripting, Regex, Python
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards and PowerAutomate workflows.
  • SharePoint Online design and administration experience.

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
