The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Document Control Professional to support its Navy training mission in Ballston Spa, NY. This role is responsible for the maintenance, administration, and continuous improvement of electronic document libraries containing manuals, instructions, and reference materials. The Document Control Professional will work closely with document owners to ensure effective configuration management, document quality, and compliance with applicable standards, while also enhancing accessibility and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the Electronic Document Libraries, including manuals, instructions, and reference documents
- Coordinate with document owners to manage document revisions and ensure compliance with configuration management and change control processes
- Review, edit, and format documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and adherence to applicable standards
- Lead and participate in projects focused on improving document control processes, efficiency, and usability
- Support initiatives to enhance document accessibility and overall user experience
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding document-related activities and updates
Qualifications
- Must have active DOE L clearance or DoD secret clearance to be considered.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, etc.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional, Bluebeam Revu, or similar PDF editing softwar
- Strong PC skills with experience using publication software and markup languages such as XML, SGML, MS Word, and PD
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, including site ownership, page design, lists, and document librarie
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage team members and external stakeholder
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detai
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

- 10+ years of experience - $128,000-$145,000
