MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager II to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA . This position is onsite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams
  • Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming
  • Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project
  • Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests
  • Up to 25% travel required or as needed


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with planning and developing project schedule
  • Experience with resource management
  • Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance
  • Possess extensive technical knowledge in areas relevant to NSWC NCTE program, including systems engineering, hardware design, and software development. Provided technical guidance and solutions to overcome complex challenges.
  • Ability to create, modify and manage Atlassian JIRA project workflows based on the criteria for the desired activity outcome.
  • Create and maintain Atlassian Confluence project pages for current assigned project information, status and updates
  • Proficient in Agile Methodologies, as well as Risk Management and Risk Mitigation planning.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification
  • Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program.


Clearance Requirements:
  • US Citizenship required and an active Secret Security clearance


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
