We are looking for a highly skilledProduct Operations Lead to lead day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a CMS-supported system and ensure operational activities align with CMS contract requirements, SLAs, and performance metrics. This is a 100% remote opportunity.
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
- Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
Responsibilities:
- Promote process standardization and best practices across the O&M lifecycle
- Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a CMS-supported system
- Ensure operational activities align with CMS contract requirements, SLAs, and performance metrics
- Coordinate incident management, problem resolution, and change activities across technical and functional teams
- Track operational risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as appropriate
- Develop and deliver regular status reports, operational metrics, and briefings for CMS stakeholders and program leadership
- Coordinate release communications, maintenance notifications, and incident communications
- Facilitate operational meetings including stand-ups, O&M reviews, and stakeholder touch points
- Elicit and document business and operational requirements for CMS-requested enhancements and internal improvements
- Write, refine, and manage user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with CMS standards and Agile practices
- Maintain and prioritize the enhancement and defect backlog in collaboration with CMS stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Partner with engineering and support teams on root cause analysis and preventative actions
