Description:You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, leading a team of Producibility, Tooling and Risk Reduction Quality Engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers on time every time. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures for manufactured and procured products.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving process issues, developing talent and looking for ways to continuously improve the products we deliver and the processes we use to do so. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Reviewing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered to customers
-Analyzing quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions
-Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
-Ensuring that Quality best practices and lessons learned are utilized in the selection of new suppliers, the redesign of components, selection of inspection processes and resolution of defect drivers
-Leading a team who interface with customers and program personnel
-Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience with root cause and corrective action methods and implementations

Experience with inspection planning and the selection of appropriate inspection methods

Supplier Quality Experience

Experience reviewing engineering requirements and qualification of components/systems

Experience verifying/validating processes
Desired Skills:
STEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferred

Previous leadership experience or team lead experience

GD&T trained

Experience establishing new suppliers

Six Sigma Certification
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
