As the HVAC/CRAC/ICWS Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, and Industrial Cooling Water Systems (ICWS) in support of mission-critical facilities at Al Udeid Air Base. This role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and uninterrupted support to base operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise daily operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of HVAC, CRAC, and ICWS equipment.
- Lead and manage technicians, including work assignments, performance oversight, and technical guidance.
- Ensure cooling systems supporting data centers, communications facilities, and mission-critical infrastructure operate within required parameters.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis of system failures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Air Force standards, OSHA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with base engineers, facility managers, contractors, and government representatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using CMMS or other tracking systems.
- Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables; recommend procurement and inventory levels.
- Support emergency response and after-hours call-outs for critical system failures.
- Provide technical input for system upgrades, modifications, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Enforce safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and job hazard analyses.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems.
- Minimum of five (5) years of expereince in a supervisory position.
- EPA Universal Certification required
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, air handlers, package units, split systems, and precision cooling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain base access and applicable security clearances.
- Physically capable of working in high-temperature environments and performing manual labor as required.
- Experience working on U.S. military installations or overseas contingency environments.
- Experience with data center or mission-critical cooling systems.
- Familiarity with BAS/BMS controls and monitoring systems.
- Experience managing multinational or diverse technical teams.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
