As the Asset Manager, the individual will be responsible for the overall supply chain management duties of the organization, including receiving, storing, distributing, and inventorying IT assets, equipment and materials within the office and warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of job functions. The Asset Manager will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of equipment, and manage commercial shipping needs, when necessary, while tracking and reporting the status of equipment in the logistics life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews, identifies, and transfers equipment and accounts for items by posting the record to the hand receipt
  • Utilizes the government chosen asset management system to maintain full property accountability
  • Transports/moves computer equipment or other assets between sites, divisions, etc. as needed.
  • Performs inventory management functions for 100% accountability of property (including the counting of physical inventory)
  • Conducts monthly inventory CCI items and 10% of non CCI items, while completing 100% inventory semi-annually
  • Verifies with the customer that Assets and RMA issues have been resolved and update in the ticketing system
  • Resolves Assets and RMA issues on the customer's behalf
  • Moves materials and assets from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas with full asset accountability
  • Sorts and places materials or assets on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • Drives and operates box truck to transport and pick-up assets in several locations
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office.
  • Track and account for all IT Automation, and Network equipment
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Must be eligible and maintain Top-Secret Security / SCI clearance
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Prior experience with US government/military Inventory Systems
  • Prior experience working with a pallet jack
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate issues, concerns, plans and progress updates
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Possess clear communication skills - oral and written

The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods, regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
