Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) managing and directing installation/executive levelprogram activities that emphasize prevention of sexual harassment/assault and victim advocacy; and 2) developing sexual harassment/assault policy and guidelines to achieve program objectives; and 3) providing technical advice on sexual harassment/assault to management and program support personnel; and 4) analyzing program data to identify trends or areas for improvement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

- Act as the principal authority, strategic advisor, and advocate for the Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program and victims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and associated retaliatory behaviors for the Commander.
- Manage a Corps level SHARP Program servicing Soldiers and Family members, as well as Department of Army Civilians.
- Administer the SHARP program to maintain a workplace environment that rejects sexual harassment and sexual assault and attitudes that promote such behaviors.
- Formulate Command SHARP directives, prevention, education, and SHARP reporting and compliance requirements.
- Oversee, manage, and establish procedural guidance for the SHARP hotline.
- Support the commander with prevention activities, response coordination, case management, victim advocacy and training management.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- The duties of this position require background checks to be conducted against all records as required by law, OPM, DoD, and Army policy and regulation.
- Incumbent is required to self-report civilian arrests, the filing of criminal charges, and/or convictions of any criminal offense to their supervisors and security office.
- This position requires the incumbent to attend and graduate from all required SHARP training courses within six (6) months of employment.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain the DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) and up-to-date commander appointment orders prior to having any victim contact or access to victim information.
- The duties of this position may require the incumbent to be on call 24 hours a day, seven days to execute position responsibilities based on the needs of the organization.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 25% of the time.
- The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
