Description of Duties:
The Facility Engineer - HVAC Certified is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upgrade of HVAC systems at the BGIF, including computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units and environmental controls. This role ensures continuous cooling for high-performance computing environments supporting OPIR TAP Lab and tenant enclaves.

Basic Requirements:
This position is expected to pay $52.28/hr - $60.09/hr; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

- Conduct inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems per OEM and industry standards.
- Ensure 99.96% uptime of server room cooling systems.
- Support quarterly facility downtimes and emergency response.
- Maintain consumables and spare parts for HVAC systems.
- Provide updates to the BGIF Maintenance and Contingency Plans.
- Coordinate with facility stakeholders for HVAC-related upgrades and fit-ups.

- Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Must have a Colorado HVAC certification (EPA 608 or equivalent)
- Must have 8, or more, years of experience in HVAC systems and facility cooling infrastructure
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
