Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and our team. Must be able to obtain and retain a secret clearance

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Control access at entrances and controlled areas by checking identification, validating credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as required.
• Complete detailed security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations and/or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
