Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $25.00 to $30.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
  • Track and control service assets across the IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with configuration analysts to train SACM staff in principles, processes, and procedures.
  • Support creation and maintenance of SACM processes, activities, and procedures, including CI registration, access controls, and privileges.
  • Define and maintain correct roles and responsibilities in the SACM plan and procedures.
  • Assist with procurement of IT assets when requested.
  • Tag and track all IT assets and identify their locations and owners.
  • Receive IT assets, ensure delivery to correct locations, and coordinate setup and teardown activities.
  • Recommend and concur on CI naming conventions to ensure unique identification.
  • Ensure developers and configuration system users comply with identification standards.
  • Liaise with the Configuration Librarian to populate the CMS.
  • Perform configuration audits to reconcile physical inventory with the CMDB/CMS and initiate corrective actions through Change Control.
  • Accept baselined products from third parties for distribution and build system baselines for promotion and release.
  • Maintain project status information and status accounting records and reports.
  • Assist in defining SACM reports as required.
  • Maintain and reconcile databases for licenses, warranties, and service agreements for hardware and software.

Experience Requirements:

  • Four years of experience using Department of Defense Logistics and Asset Management Systems such as Remedy, DPAS, or GCSS-MC.
  • Hands-on experience with SACM processes, CI registration, and access control practices.
  • Experience conducting configuration audits and reconciling CMDB/CMS with physical inventory.
  • Experience with asset receiving, tagging, tracking, and lifecycle activities including setup and teardown.
  • Experience defining and enforcing CI naming conventions and identification standards.
  • Experience maintaining status accounting records and generating operational reports.
  • Experience managing license, warranty, and service agreement data for hardware and software.
