Job Summary:
Serve as an Electronics Technician for DAWSONs Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. The Electronics Technician performs maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems supporting facility safety, security, and operations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract requirements.

The Electronics Technician performs maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems supporting facility safety, security, and operations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems across EPA RTP facilities.
- Support systems including security systems, fire alarm systems, public address (PA) systems, and sprinkler control systems.
- Support preventive maintenance inspections and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify system deficiencies and perform repairs in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable federal, state, and local codes and contract requirements.
- Coordinate work with site management, Quality Control personnel, and Government representatives.
- Document work performed in accordance with contract reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
- Support service call response and task order execution activities.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable safety and security requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with security systems, fire alarm systems, public address (PA) systems, and sprinkler control systems in commercial facilities.
- Possess a State of North Carolina Security Alarm License, in accordance with contract requirements.
- Demonstrated experience supporting electronic systems in large or complex facilities.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain access to EPA facilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
