Job Title: Task Order Manager

Job Summary:

Serve as the Task Order Manager for DAWSONs Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. The Task Order Manager is responsible for planning, oversight, coordination, and execution of task orders involving maintenance, repair, and construction activities in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract requirements.

Location: Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina

Responsibilities:
  • Manage planning, coordination, and execution of task orders issued under the EPA RTP contract.
  • Provide oversight of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate work activities with customers, subcontractors, site personnel, and Government representatives.
  • Develop, modify, and track task order schedules.
  • Support cost, schedule, and performance management of assigned task orders.
  • Ensure task order work complies with contract requirements, approved plans, and applicable codes.
  • Support preparation of task order documentation, reports, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records related to task order execution.
  • Interface with the Project Manager, Quality Control personnel, and Government stakeholders to ensure successful task order performance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with responsible planning, oversight, management, and/or execution of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects and/or task orders.
  • Experience must be in a large commercial or industrial facility, or across multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, modifying, and tracking project schedules.
  • Skill in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • North Carolina General Contractors license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain access to EPA facilities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
