Position Overview
The Lead Common Operational Picture (COP) Manager provides senior-level oversight and technical leadership for the integration of IT systems and services in direct support of CJ3 operational oversight across the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO). This role is responsible for managing near real-time, decision-quality operational situational awareness through the effective fusion, management, and presentation of COP data to support joint and combined operations.

- Lead the integration, operation, and sustainment of COP fusion and management tools supporting CJ3 operational oversight
- Manage near real-time situational awareness to ensure decision-quality operational visibility across the KTO
- Oversee COP operations supporting joint, combined, and coalition command and control environments
- Coordinate with operational staff, IT teams, and mission partners to ensure accurate and timely COP data dissemination
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on COP management processes, tools, and best practices
- Ensure COP systems align with operational requirements, network architecture, and IT infrastructure standards
- Support operations across multiple classified and hardened environments, including command posts and bunkered facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve COP-related system, data, and integration issues impacting operational awareness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum required)
- Seven (7) or more years of experience with GCCS COP fusion and management tools
- Demonstrated expertise in COP management and operations support environments
- Strong understanding of COP fusion tools, workflows, and operational data integration
- Solid working knowledge of networks, IT systems, and server platforms supporting mission operations
- Experience operating in high-tempo, mission-critical operational environments
- Ability to work on-site across multiple locations within the Republic of Korea
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting joint or combined military operations
- Familiarity with CJ3 operational processes and command-and-control environments
- Prior experience in OCONUS or theater-level operational support roles
