Job Summary

The candidate will serve as a Senior Advisor supporting Army Integrated, Defensive, and Offensive Fires weapon system portfolios, and OSD equities. This role spans the full acquisition lifecycle, integrating engineering, program control, testing, fielding, training, deployment and logistics. The candidate will play a critical role in coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts essential to major defense acquisition programs, as well as other-than-major systems and subsystems. The candidate will help to ensure that acquisition decisions are driven by operational needs, reducing delays, and creating tighter alignment between requirements and delivered capabilities. Key stakeholders will include the Joint and Army Staffs, OSD, HQDA DAMO-Fires, Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), Army Transformation and Training Command, Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, and Army Air and Missile Defense Commands (AAMDCs).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Acquisition Execution:
Lead development and implementation of acquisition strategies that align with customer overarching capability delivery goals. Candidate will develop strategic visions and plans and set objectives for new and existing government customers. Candidate will work with Senior Leaders to develop and implement strategic and tactical action plans in support of combat developments, materiel development, HQDA integration, and modernization initiatives.

Program Integration & Oversight:
Support cross-functional integration of program elements-operational, technical, and logistical-to enable effective acquisition and sustainment of Fires systems. Work with stakeholders to ensure that Army Fires programs are no longer "system-centric" but capability-centric, with the warfighter's operational requirements driving decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:

Collaborate with stakeholders to align acquisition with operational concepts to enable faster and more accurate translation of warfighter needs into delivered systems. Key stakeholders will include Joint and Army Staffs, OSD, HQDA DAMO-Fires, SMDC, MDA, FCoE, Army Transformation and Training Command, PAE Fires, and AAMDCs to better posture the Army to deliver capabilities our Soldiers need without delay. These engagements will help to ensure the warfighter's voice is central for acquisition, fielding and ensuring responsive adaptation of programs to real-world needs.

Strategic Growth & Business Development:
Serve as a KBR Senior Advisor for Integrated Fires pursuits with Army PAE Fires, MDA, SMDC, OSD and AAMDC business pursuits. Shape strategic direction, engage with new and existing government customers, and support solution development aligned to Army modernization priorities. Candidate will also serve as a liaison with other peers on KBR cross-business unit opportunities.

Leadership Development & Mentorship:
Contribute to the KBR Leadership Program through development and deployment of training, mentoring, and enrichment activities designed to develop future leaders and improve retention and engagement.
