REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- High School Graduate or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military supply experience and training)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience with GCCS-A and the Aircraft Notebook (ACN) desired
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Must climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Must operate manual tools and power tools • Color Vision • Hearing • Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.
- Most heavy lifting is accomplished using mechanical devices • Work area is primarily aircraft areas, hangars, workshops, and other industrial settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for coordination, monitoring, and providing supply support; shall analyze all bench stock, prescribed load list, and shop stock; provide recommended revision of stock level in support.
- Supply Specialist coordinates turn-in requirements and/or disposition.
- Manages the inventory, ordering, and recycling of all parts and material requirements, with oversight, develops "save list", and demilitarization actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work Environment: Aircraft areas, workshops, and other industrial settings.
- Physical Requirements: Sit or stand for long periods of time.
