Job Description
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave.
• Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Prepare and maintain security documentation and records.
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information.
• Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems.
• Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives.
Qualifications Required:
• Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience as an ISSO.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Certification Requirements:
• Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements.
Clearance Requirements:
• TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
The pay range for this position in MD is $120,000 to $190,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. This posting will be renewed periodically until the position is filled.
