Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must have a TS/SCI and Polygraph clearance.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the government customer with expert technical assistance by designing secure networks, performing security assessments of computing environments, evaluating architectures for compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards, and recommending risk mitigation strategies
• Lead as a security engineer providing expert assistance with the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networks, enclave environments, architectures, systems, and system components.
• Support Government enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures
• Provide the customer with assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure
• Advocate and recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements
• Monitor and recommend improvements to IA policy
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
• Identify security requirements for the proper handling of Government data
• Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives.
Qualifications Required:

• Prior experience as an ISSE
Education Requirements:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
Certification Requirements:
• DoDD 8140 compliance with IASAE Level III or Level II
• Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Clearance Requirements:
• TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
