Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Configuration Manager to support a contract with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Support team.
This program's support to NIWC LANT will include Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Prototype Fielding Kit Development, Engineering Documentation Development, Software Engineering, Integration, Training and Sustainment of the following systems Communication Emitter Sensing and Attacking System (CESAS) and Tactical SIGINT Collection System (TSCS)
Work will be performed on-site in Charleston, South Carolina.

Work will be performed on-site in Charleston, South Carolina.
Tasking will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs
- Leverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for hardware, software and documentation.
- Maintain ownership of the project's Configuration Management Plan, facilitate Configuration Control Boards, and support the establishment of the Configuration Management Library.
- Provide support for planning and producing a process for reporting and recording changes to installed baseline equipment.
- Coordinate the interaction between engineering, integration team, logistics, and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
- Establish and maintain system baselines, configurations, and related documentation
- Monitor and audit system configurations to ensure compliance with established standards
- Work with development and operations teams to ensure that configuration management requirements are met
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot configuration-related errors
- Develop and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of configuration data
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience as a configuration manager supporting IT programs.
- Extensive knowledge of the CMPRO Configuration Management System is a plus.
- Experience with performing functions, including Life Cycle Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Verification and Audit, or Data Management
- Knowledge of the software release process
- This position requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has the technical knowledge to ensure our systems are functioning properly
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
