This role supports work-life balance through a Hybrid Telework schedule, combining on-site work at a Lockheed Martin-designated location with a predefined, recurring telework schedule.
This position may be based in King of Prussia, PA; Littleton, CO; Manassas, VA; Moorestown, NJ; or Owego, NY.

The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2) Solutions Architect to support the Strategic Products & Initiatives (SP&I) organization.

This role requires deep expertise in Command and Control (C2) architectures, experience across BMC2 products and sensors, understanding of cross-echelon CJADC2 interoperability, and the ability to shape product line investment strategies.

You will drive forward-looking technical solutions by making architecture and design decisions that support MIC2 objectives while maximizing commonality and compatibility across CommandIQ, existing Programs of Record, and emerging capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop intellectual property strategies and technology roadmaps for a common MIC2 architecture
• Align MIC2 engineering and technology with strategic business objectives
• Lead technology roadmap workshops to drive collaboration and inform C2 investment decisions
• Integrate C2, automation, AI/ML, and modern software practices across all echelons and operational environments
• Partner with Business Development, Advanced Concepts, and market segments to support demonstrations and prototypes
• Collaborate across the RMS Lines of Business, eTech, and Corporate Engineering & Technology to enable a One Lockheed Martin (1LM) technical approach
• Support CRAD proposals and lead or contribute to technical proposal development for new business captures

Who We Are
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of technical leaders, program professionals, and business partners to help guide capability evolution aligned to Lockheed Martin's strategic priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Command & Control technology portfolios, product lines, and intellectual property strategies; including system architectures, functional boundaries, and physical implementations
• Strong desire to understand the full MIC2 portfolio in the context of the broader RMS business and the Lockheed Martin Enterprise objectives
• Significant experience in integrating command and control, automation, and AI/ML across domestic and international services
• Demonstrated ability to form and maintain successful customer relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to articulate strategies with cross-discipline teams and at multiple levels of business
• Must have an final Secret or higher security clearance to start in the role with ability obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading participation in Government sponsored demonstrations, exercises, and/or wargames

• Familiarity working with OUSD and Service S&T organizations (e.g. DARPA, DIU, TRMC, CDAO, ONR, NRL, AFRL, DEVCOM ARL) to pursue Contract Research & Development (CRAD) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) business opportunities

• Demonstrated ability leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects

• Willing and able to travel domestically

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $164,300 - $289,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $189,000 - $327,635. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
