You will be the F-35 CNI Capability Owner for the CNI Integrated Product Team (IPT) which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge Communication, Navigation, and Identification capabilities to the F-35 fleet.

What You Will Be Doing

As the F-35 CNI Capability Owner you will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end plan that develops, integrates, and delivers CNI capability across the entire lifecycle-from concept and development through production and sustainment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define and execute the long-term roadmap for CNI, aligning technology, schedule, and cost targets.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate CNI hardware and software into the F-35 platform.

  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and risks are mitigated.

  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement throughout production and sustainment phases.

  • Present status, trade-studies, and recommendations to senior leadership and program managers.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, computer science, or related engineering/technical field.

Experience with CNI Avionics Subsystems.

Experience with project management.

Knowledge of the F-35 development processes for hardware and software.

Knowledge of Agile principles and experience managing product backlogs within a Scrum or Kanban framework.

Experience with Jira or other Agile issue and project tracking software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "translate" complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Product Owner experience.

Knowledge of video/still imagery compression technologies and associated metadata standards.

Knowledge of state of the art navigation principles and concepts.

Knowledge of System Integration and Test (SI&T) processes.

Knowledge of SATCOM concepts.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
