You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality electronic assemblies, machined and welded parts, and safety-critical systems for defense and commercial customers.

As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function that supports the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) area.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree at the Bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 5+ years of related professional experience
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (ie SAP, Apriso, etc.)
• Experience with root cause analysis and evaluations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working successfully in a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
• STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading a group of technical individuals.
• Experience with circuit card assembly for plated-thru-hole (PTH) and surface mount technology (SMT) production
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B and/or auditing experience with these standards
• Experience in Quality, Engineering and/or Production Operations
• Experience with MRB and dispositioning of nonconformances
• Experience writing technical reports
• Experience interfacing and interacting with DCMA and/or other government customers
• Certified Green Belt or experience with lean manufacturing and failure analysis
• Certifications or knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001

- Implementing mistake-proofing, continuous-improvement initiatives, and ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance.
- Collaborating with other Lockheed Martin sites to harmonize processes and achieve mission success.
