TITLE: Systems Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $45/hr - $49.36/hr W2 (no health benefits/no PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid)
LOCATION: HYBRID in McLeansville, NC 27301 (no relocation package)
DURATION: 12+ months
SCHEDULE: 9/80 (every other Friday off)
CLEARANCE: Able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
**Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a systems engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, you'll join a cross functional team responsible for the systems engineering, integration, and testing of an ongoing major Program of Record. This program is a multi-disciplined engineering one-of-kind system that provides enhanced Mission capability to our Customer. We need a highly motivated and fast learning Systems Engineer to join our mechanical Hardware Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in support of verification planning and test of deliverable mechanical components of the system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
PREFERRED SKILLS
MBSE Proficiency (MagicDraw tool) (is a big plus)
Requirements Management and Development

System Test Planning and Execution of large scale integrated mechanical systems
Mechanical background
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
