Job Title: Systems Architect
Location: Germantown, MD OR Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders on overall visibility into system performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives focused on achieving strategic goals.
• Contribute to UNEA framework implementation by managing the EA repository that includes relationship mapping, maturity assessments, and architectural analysis.
• Collaboratively develop data-driven insights and roadmaps that align IT investments with enterprise architecture and mission priorities.
• Support EA modeling and documentation activities across the domains. Assist in maintaining EA artifacts within the repository and ensure compliance with NNSA’s architecture standards and governance processes.
Required Qualifications/Skills
• Prior experience in Enterprise Architecture, portfolio prioritization, and strategic planning.
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Approaches activities with collaboration, team building, and consensus building in mind.
• Inquisitive/Innovative – “out of the box thinker.”
• Takes initiative rather than wait to be given tasks.
• Understand intent of tasks and translate it to executable actions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Confident to recommend solution approaches, including actively participating in meetings.
• Respectful when expressing disagreements in solution strategies, yet willing to accept management direction for task completion.
• A minimum of 5 years as a government contractor.
• A minimum of 5 years using Jira and SharePoint.
