Position Title: Scrum Master
Location: San Diego, CA
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
ISPA Technology is currently hiring for a Scrum Master to join our team onsite in San Diego, CA. This person will lead Agile delivery efforts in a SAFe environment and support cutting-edge defense technology projects. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to help teams deliver high-quality results while removing obstacles and maintaining sprint momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
Enforce Agile and SAFe best practices across development teams
Maintain and manage scrum boards and ensure accurate team updates
Track story progress, support task decomposition, and address impediments quickly
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlog items, epics, and sprint goals
Support client coordination to streamline approvals and remove roadblocks
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Scrum Master experience in an Agile DoD environment
Strong background leading software development or IT project teams
Experience with integration, development, or related technical programs
Active Secret security clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent DoD IT experience)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
