Responsibilities

A week in the life of a Software Developer, Associate includes:
  • Design, develop, document, test and debug software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics.
  • Ensure software standards are met.
  • Confer with systems engineers, aerospace engineers, developers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Develop software using C/C++ and the Qt framework.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the field of aircraft avionics
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with C/C++ and Qt.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Understand the process of requirements development
  • Use of Helix in requirements development is preferred


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,700.00/Yr. - USD $109,700.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
