Overview
Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide Windows server support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
5+ years experience in systems administration for SolarWinds. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ CE certified (or hold equivalent certification in compliance with DoD 8140/8570 IAT II requirements). Must hold one of the following certifications: SCP-SAM Server & Application Monitor (SAM); SCP-NCM Network Configuration Manager (NCM); or SCP-NPM Network Performance Monitor (NPM). Additional SolarWinds certifications desired including: SCP-NTA NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA); SCP-OAD Orion Architecture and Design (OAD); or SCP-SAM Server & Application Monitor (SAM). Experience with SolarWinds systems administration including installation, configuration, monitoring system performance and availability, upgrades, troubleshooting, and dashboard design. Extensive experience with creating/implementing customized dashboards, reports, notifications and automated responses. Strong understanding of network concepts, including routing, switching, and network security. Experience with Windows Server and SQL Server database systems administration. Strong communication skills, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze overall health and effectiveness of multiple SolarWinds instances while utilizing SQL, SWQL, SNMP, WMI and SSH to manage.
- Install, configure, and administer SolarWinds Orion Platform Suite, Network Performance Module (NPM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), Data Performance Analyzer (DPM), IP Address Manager (IPAM), Web Performance Manager (WPM), Server and Application Monitor (SAM), Virtualization Manager (VMAN), VoIP & Network Quality Manager (VNQM), and Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA).
- Install and patch operating systems, applications, and document DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists.
- Develop and maintain SolarWinds Disaster Recovery plan.
