At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Intelligence Trainer Advisor, a typical day will include the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience with a minimum of 5 years developing and presenting technical content.
- Demonstrated experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in adult education/training in the classroom, online, and/or in blended environments.
- Demonstrated experience of how the internet works.
- Demonstrated experience understanding how browsers interact with websites.
- Demonstrated experience understanding VPS, VPN and VPC.
- Demonstrated experience understanding encryption.
- Demonstrated experience understanding of mobile technologies and applications.
- Demonstrated experience with virtual environments and emulated mobile devices.
- Demonstrated experience with Android O/S, social media, and commercial messaging applications.
- Demonstrated experience communication complex technical topics to a non-technical audience.
- Demonstrated experience documenting technical topics and procedures for training use (content, lesson plans, assessments) in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated experience with writing and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience traveling 2 weeks 2 to 3 times a year.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably with Moodle or Blackbaord.
- Demonstrated experience with application of instructional system designs and adult learning methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience developing assessment methodologies and evaluation student performance.
- Demonstrated experience crating online training content, such as short-form video segments or web-based training/computer-based training materials.
Education Requirement
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
