Responsibilities

  • Assist with cable pulling (18‑2, RG6, Cat5e, Fiber Optics)
  • Help repair and maintain electronic security system equipmenAssist with installing raceways, pathways, and simple conduit bends
  • Use blueprints to locate and install devices accuratelyHelp mount and install field devices (readers, cameras, door contacts, REXs)
  • Support cable testing using VOM, continuity testers, TDR/OTR.
  • Perform cable terminations (butt splices, BNC, terminal strips/blocks)
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of related experience in electronics, construction, or security systems
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Capability to obtain a Secret Clearance (or active preferred)
  • Comfort with physical tasks (lifting, kneeling, climbing as needed)


While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 85 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
