SCI Security Specialist / Security Manager II

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
As a SCI Security Specialist / Security Manager II, you will be responsible for serving as a SCI Security Management Specialist for the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group located in Dayton, OH. Primary duties consist of assisting the 645 AESG Chief of Security and PMs with SCI security administration, incident response, classification management, secure facility accreditations and management, industrial security, support to industry, compliance assessments, and information security management functions supporting the documentation, tracking and oversight of special security efforts. Responsibilities include all necessary security support across the entire group portfolio, to include potential SAP and collateral roles as needed for mission support.

Who You Are and What You Need:
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the security disciplines of industrial, physical, personnel, information security supporting SCI security operations.
- Attain and maintain proficiency in use of databases necessary to perform security role. These include but are not limited to the NISS / Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD), Scattered Castles, Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and unique (e.g., SSO) databases supporting SCI activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software applications is expected, to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proven record in problem solving, decision-making, financial management, logistics and concept development
- Aptly proficient in presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
What You Will Do:
- Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in the development and maintenance of all documentation needed to effectively pursue and maintain accreditations for all 645 AESG secure facilities. This includes but is not limited to the development of: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), Tempest accreditation packages, construction security plans (CSP), modification security plans (MSP), plans of action and milestones (POA&M), Co/Joint-utilization agreements (CUA/JUA), cross-organization MOU/MOA, training, operating instructions (OI), and access/alarm rosters.
- Prepare for, and participate in, security program self-assessments, staff assistance visits, higher echelon inspections, and periodic program status checks as directed by the 645 AESG Chief of Security.
- Maintain security database files detailing status and access of cleared personnel and assist in the dissemination and verification of collateral and SCI visit requests for all group personnel.
- Prepare, coordinate and distribute SCI access requests and consequent approvals. Preparation of SCI access requests includes all predecessor tasks needed to establish eligibility, conduct indoctrination, update system records, and engage with appropriate SSO. Update associated databases as needed.
- Monitor and record foreign travel notifications, approvals, and mitigations in appropriate systems.
- Perform information security functions to include incident response and tracking, document control and accountability (i.e., TSCO), classification management, and conducting self-inspections as needed.
- Perform resource management tasks to include administration and tracking of personnel actions, material and inventory items, office acquisition functions and squadron functions. These activities include tracking and reporting of security and resource database information, classified holdings accounting and inventory, processing of periodic inspections and associated documentation, coordination and maintaining communications among group personnel, front office and command section points of contact, and HQ security functions.
- Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in executing all daily and periodic SCI security management functions across the group program. This includes, but is not limited to, SCI access management, clearance processing and coordination, security Operational Instruction (OI) development, security classification management, facility management, incident management, SSO coordination, self-inspections, and general security administration.
