Job Overview
The Systems Administrator I will be a full-time onsite role that will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the growing user base and infrastructure across the Tampa, FL sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with Active Directory, network troubleshooting, and server administration as well as a high level of customer service soft skills.
Essential Functions
• Onboarding & Offboarding Support
• Build, image, and configure Windows-based workstations for new hires.
• Prepare laptops, peripherals, and accessories for day-one readiness.
• Provide day-one technical support for new employees (login issues, basic access, setup validation).
• Decommission systems during offboarding, including device collection, data handling, and secure reset/wipe procedures.
• Tier 1 Technical Support
• Serve as first-line support for basic IT issues across TS-supported sites.
• Troubleshoot common end-user issues (hardware, OS, connectivity, peripherals, basic applications).
• Escalate issues appropriately to Tier 2/3 teams with clear documentation.
• Asset & Inventory Support
• Assist with inventory management and asset tracking.
• Maintain accurate records for laptops, accessories, and assigned equipment.
• Support asset lifecycle processes (deployment, redeployment, retirement).
• Documentation & Process Support
• Follow established onboarding, offboarding, and support procedures.
• Document work performed in the ticketing system with clarity and consistency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Demonstrated a High level of customer service in a help desk/support role.
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards such as NIST and CMMC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Education / Certifications
• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience
• 1-3 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Active Directory and network infrastructure.
