Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity with clear communication and professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable licensing requirements, and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, documenting observations and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff information, using required systems and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
