We are seeking an experienced VDI Engineer to support a large-scale, geographically dispersed environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, along with working knowledge of Hyper‑V. This role requires extensive travel—including overseas and remote locations—and an active Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
Support lifecycle management of VDI components, including updates, patches, and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot complex VDI issues across diverse environments and user groups.
Assist with virtualization tasks involving Hyper‑V technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, stable, and efficient VDI operations.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide on-site technical support at various CONUS and non‑CONUS locations.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance (minimum).
Demonstrated strong expertise in VDI technologies (core requirement).
Some working experience with Hyper‑V.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
This is a heavy‑travel position. Work will require frequent domestic and international travel to remote locations. Travel includes, but is not limited to:
Alaska
Hawaii
Korea
Japan
Okinawa
Additional non‑CONUS military bases and mission environments
