ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Providing essential administrative support to the CCPA (Central Command Public Affairs) team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in a high-tempo environment.
• Serving as key point of contact for internal and external communications, facilitating organizational efficiency and supporting leadership priorities.
• Providing direct administrative support to CCPA leadership by managing calendars, scheduling, meeting coordination, and preparing briefing materials.
• Coordinating travel arrangements and logistics while ensuring compliance with government travel policies.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, drafting and proofreading official correspondence, and maintaining accurate records and document systems.
• Managing contact lists, rosters, and personnel documentation.
• Supporting the planning and execution of CCPA events by handling logistics, materials, and on site administrative needs.
• Efficiently managing leadership calendars, meetings, and briefing materials while coordinating travel and ensuring compliant processing.
• Drafting, editing, and routing correspondence.
• Maintaining organized records and personnel documentation.
• Administering staff procedures and personnel actions, and serving as the primary communications point, ensuring timely, accurate responses to internal and external inquiries.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Two or more years of administrative support experience, ideally in a DoD or military setting, with demonstrated ability to coordinate communications and support senior leadership
• Must hold an active Secret clearance
• Must have strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
• High attention to detail in documentation and records management
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Knowledge of DoD administrative processes (FOIA, DOPSR, TMT)
• Must be able to handle sensitive information securely and remain flexible for after‑hours or emergent support needs
• Proven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutions
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
