As an Industry Advisor supporting the Department of National Defence (DND), and
leveraging Softchoice’s comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions, this role
will empower and support sales and engineering teams to achieve sustainable
growth by providing high-level strategic guidance and actionable insights. This
position is responsible for fostering strong strategic client relationships and acting
as the voice of the client within the organization, helping shape strategies to
enhance sales performance. This hybrid role requires approximately 25% travel,
adapting as needed to meet business demands.
What you'll do:
• Provide leadership and vision, while being a contributing, inspiring
member of the team of resources focused on achieving business/mission
outcomes for the Softchoice DND team.
• Develop and drive measurable growth for Softchoice workshare on
assigned key programs while managing key relationships between the
customer, partners, and Softchoice.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Softchoice DND team by developing an
enablement framework, driving strategic facilitation, advocacy, and
advisory programs
• Leverage existing teams within Softchoice and help guide them to the
appropriate solutions and promote the benefits of those solutions to the
customer and our partners.
• Operate as a change agent and thought leader, representing Softchoice's
innovation and offerings
• Plan, advise, facilitate, and drive actionable insights from executive level
customer meetings to assist the Softchoice team in understanding and
addressing their technical and operational needs.
• Clearly communicate Softchoice’s unique value and competitive
advantages.
• Develop expertise in the full range of Softchoice and World Wide
Technology services to enable the presentation of comprehensive
solutions.
• Foster relationships and collaborate with subject matter experts and
account teams to define account strategy and deliver the right approach
for our customers.
What you'll bring to the table:
• Tenured DND or CAF service with a minimum of seven years at the Senior
Officer level or above.
• Active TS security clearance preferred, or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong facilitation skills with a track record of leading high-impact
executive briefings, client councils, and account planning sessions.
• Demonstrated track record of driving organizational and missionfocused results.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
and internal teams
• Strong understanding of portfolio management and go-to-market growth
strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at
both the operational and executive levels.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on driving long-term client value and
loyalty.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing client satisfaction and health,
identifying trends, and recommending data-driven improvements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage
competing priorities
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is $158,000 to $197,000.
Note: the pay range represents the full pay range for this position. Each individual
offer will take into consideration a range of factors, including prior experience and
geographic location.
In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for additional elements of
compensation including (cell allowances, annual bonus, or commissions etc.), as well
as a comprehensive benefits plan.
