Web Application Quality Assurance & Tester Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of web-based software applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manual and automated testing, experience working with modern test frameworks, and the ability to develop clear, well-documented test plans and procedures. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for web-based applications
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• • 3+ years of experience in software test engineering
  • 2+ years of experience testing web-based applications
  • Experience writing scripts or using automated test frameworks to test software functionality
  • Experience creating and maintaining documented test plans and test procedures
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience working with IT or software development
    OR
    8+ years of experience working with IT or software development in lieu of a degree

Desired Skills:

• Experience writing scripts or software
• Experience developing tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Demonstrated ability to automate software testing processes
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and test integration
