Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems / Citrix Engineer to support a high-visibility enterprise environment within the Intelligence Community. This role will play a key part in virtualization infrastructure, modernization initiatives, and ongoing AWS cloud migration efforts. The position is highly collaborative and user-facing, requiring both strong technical depth and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Citrix technologies and enterprise virtualization platforms.
Support design, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of virtual desktop and application delivery environments.
Contribute to AWS cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including infrastructure build-outs and optimization.
Assist with system upgrades, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure scalability and reliability.
Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and incident resolution for complex technical issues.
Engage directly with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
Strong hands-on experience with Citrix technologies in enterprise environments.
Broad systems or infrastructure engineering background (Windows Server, virtualization, networking, or similar).
Experience supporting large-scale environments and modernization projects.
Experience working in user-facing or stakeholder-facing technical roles.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desired / Nice to Have
Experience with AWS cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with application delivery, gateway, or load-balancing technologies (e.g., NetScaler or equivalent).
Exposure to automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
