Experience in conducting liaison with Defense Logistics Agency/Navy Weapon System Support item managers and commercial companies to ensure that shore-based spares are identifiable, locatable, ready-for-issue and that applicable certifications/documentation (e.g. American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Coast Guard Inspection certificates, etc) are updated and available for review.
Experience coordinating the availability and delivery of Planned Program Requirement (PPR) and providing forecasted material demands.
Experience communicating both orally and in writing, to address a wide range of audiences from ship's management team (masters, chief engineers, and class managers) to senior government management on fleet configuration and logistics support/readiness issues.

- You will develop, maintain, and implement program/class life-cycle logistics sustainment plans (LCSP) and contractual requirements for Government-owned ships managed under both Government-operated or Contract-operated business models.
- You will monitor and assess performance measures, logistics readiness, and contract compliance of contract operators, shipyards, vendors, support contractors, and shipboard staff.
- You will manage overall program within allocated resources.
- You will provide verbal/ written reports and program performance to management, as required.
- You will conduct studies and analyses to identify and develop requirements for inclusion into ship acquisition and equipment alteration programs.
