USGI is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-level customer support for the Office of the Senior Procurement Executive

DOL, OASAM Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) is a customer service organization that delivers consistent, high-quality, enterprise-wide procurement services to support DOL's diverse missions and maximize the Department's federal buying power.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Senior Management schedule prioritizing meetings, and appointments.
- Review outgoing correspondence to ensure it is properly formatted and prepared on official letterhead for proper distribution. Reviews shall be completed within 24 hours of assignment, or as otherwise instructed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Order and maintain supplies for office personnel, copiers, shredders, facsimile machines and other office equipment.
- Manage the file room, to include retrieving files upon request.
- Greet visitors and escort or direct them to the appropriate individual being visited.
- Manage, reserve, schedule, and setup conference rooms for personnel.
- Assist personnel in making preparations for meetings (i.e., making copies, compiling briefing books etc.).
- Arrange domestic/international travel and prepare travel vouchers in accordance with DOL's policies and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- Possess strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Software
- Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- The ability to perform administrative functions such as managing senior management schedule prioritizing meetings, and appointments, arrange domestic/international travel and prepare travel vouchers in accordance with DOL policies and regulations
- Proficient in multiple competencies relevant to the job and work independently on complex tasks within established procedures associated with specific job functions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical training and certifications are additional benefits but not required
