DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support and assistance to Contract Specialists in essentially all areas of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Provide support in technical writing, acquisition planning and strategy, and market research.
- Ensure compliance with program and administrative regulations.
- Prepare simplified purchase orders and modifications.
- Log and track contract quotes, requests for modifications, and reports.
- Provide assistance with functions supporting the procurement business process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two (2) year of relevant professional experience; may substitute education, training or applicable certification for one year experience (experience may be substituted by 12 or more semester hours leading to obtaining or the actual possession of a FAC-C Professional certification)
- Possess a minimum of 24 semester hours in business related coursework, from an accredited college or university
- Some knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Software
- Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to quickly grasp procurement terms, methodologies, and processes, prepare BPA files and associated electronic documentation
