• Take ownership of technical designs for assigned integrations and services, from development through deployment and sustainment.
• Write high-quality, well-tested, and well-documented code using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Perform and lead code reviews, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers.

• Contribute to API documentation, design artifacts, and technical materials supporting platform sustainment and compliance efforts.
• Support operational readiness by ensuring APIs are production-aware, observable, and aligned with deployment and monitoring standards.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 6-8+ years of professional Java development experience, with a strong focus on API and backend service development.
• Deep expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Maven, JUnit, and Git-based workflows.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and integration patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Experience developing and supporting services within microservices-based or distributed architectures.
• Proven experience supporting production systems with uptime, reliability, and operational expectations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
