MANTECH seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Logistics Manager to join our team in Lakehurst, NJ . This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in office and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- You will perform supervisory tasks such as reviewing and approving timesheets, absence requests, career entitlements, and conducting informal employee counseling in coordination with the Program Manager.
- Conduct routine check-ins with team members regarding ongoing activities and operational concerns.
- Maintain and update financial tracking spreadsheets for each task order, including labor categories, rates, hours, funding timelines, and accruals.
- Support the proposal process by preparing cost estimates and responses to government RFPs, as well as developing task order spend plans.
- Assist in preparing job descriptions and requisitions to support new task orders; participate in candidate interviews to select the most qualified applicants.
- Review weekly employee activity reports and oversee the consolidation and editing of monthly progress reports for both MANTECH and subcontractor task orders.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data across all progress reports and task tracking documentation.
- Support the Program Manager in reviewing and processing contract modifications and verifying associated financial details.
- Collaborate closely with government Contracting Officer Representatives, Assistant Program Managers for Logistics, and their deputies across ALRE divisions.
- Represent MANTECH in weekly and monthly government technical task order meetings.
- Participate in MANTECH leadership, program, and contract staff meetings; lead meetings in the Program Manager's absence as required.
- Acquire working knowledge of various logistics functions to provide operational coverage during staff absences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR an additional 5+ years of relevant DoD logistics experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 10+ years of program, financial, and logistics support related to Department of Defense (DoD) systems.
- Proven experience supporting a Program Manager with tasks such as developing financial tracking spreadsheets, generating proposals and cost estimates, and delivering monthly progress reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically in creating and maintaining program metric spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with tracking personnel, labor categories, and funding data across task orders using Excel.
- Experience contributing to proposal development and spend plans in response to government RFPs.
- Skilled in drafting job requisitions and participating in candidate selection processes.
- Demonstrated ability to compile and review weekly activity summaries and monthly progress reports, including financial integration.
- Experience collaborating with subcontractors on task order performance and reporting accuracy.
- Supportive of contract modifications processing and updating associated financial records.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with government personnel and supervisors.
- Comfortable attending and contributing to recurring technical task order meetings.
- Knowledge of logistics databases such as Allowance Parts Lists and supply chain resources.
- Prior experience in logistics support related to Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) programs is highly desirable.
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is acceptable to start on program.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers via email and verbal communications.
