Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking Electromechanical Engineers with extensive experience designing and integrating complex electronic hardware.
Job Duties
• Develop detailed mechanical layouts for Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) boards
• Select and integrate connectors, ensuring proper fit, clearance, and tolerance compliance
• Create and manage designs using PTC Creo and Windchill
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
• Support DFM/DFA reviews and manufacturing readiness activities
• Define, execute, and oversee test plans
• Manage board integration within mechanical enclosures
• Design and support cable and harness assemblies (highly desirable)
• Utilize Zuken for electrical/mechanical integration (preferred)
• Maintain accurate design documentation and BOMs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, systems, reliability, and manufacturing teams
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CCA mechanical design, connector selection, and manufacturing support
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using PTC Creo and Windchill
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Zuken, IPC standards, and aerospace/defense product development cycles
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Proven ability to produce high-quality design documentation and lead test and integration activities
