THE WORK
Key duties include monitoring program performance, conducting variance analysis, and delivering clear status reports to senior leadership and customers. As Cost Account Manager (CAM), the OPM develops and manages Production-Operations budgets, supports make-or-buy decisions, and drives cost-reduction initiatives. The role also oversees risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, while capturing opportunities that improve performance or lower lifecycle cost.
Collaboration is central to success. The OPM aligns technical, logistical, and contractual requirements across functional groups, ensuring a unified approach to problem solving. As a senior portfolio member, the OPM works closely with other senior OPMs to harmonize processes, share best practices, and shape strategic direction. Mentorship responsibilities include coaching junior OPMs and fostering their professional growth.

Our functional group, the Operations Program Management team, is composed of ~30 professionals with a range of skill and experience. Our team serves as Control Account Managers (CAMs) responsible for material budget and operations labor scope. We are leaders in this organization who are the primary interfaces between line of business Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality or other company functions for production, development, and capture programs for Production Operations. We ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the TLS factories and their programs operate on schedule and meet commitments. We drive momentum through action, and focus on the small wins while driving towards the overall objectives.
WHO YOU ARE
The Operations Program Manager (OPM) leads the Integrated Project Team (IPT) for multiple contracts and product lines within the F-35 Training and Sustainment Market Segment. From proposal development through product delivery and sustainment, the OPM ensures Production Operations meets its Quality, Cost, and Schedule commitments, initiates "return-to-green" corrective actions when needed, and serves as the primary liaison to Program Management, Quality, Engineering & Technology, Sourcing, Logistics, and external partners.

Basic Qualifications:
-Previous experience as an OPM, MPM or Project Engineer supporting both development and/or production programs.
-Demonstrated success as CAM on Earned Value (EV) reportable programs with a total value >$50M.
-Experience with risk and opportunity management.

-Ability to prioritize, track and expedite activities to meet critical program needs.
-Extensive experience working in or with Operations (manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, master scheduling, production control, shop floor control/execution, quality and sourcing).

-Experience leading large development and production proposal efforts for Production Operations.
-Strong presentation skills with experience leading Production portions of internal and external program reviews (INAR, BR, IBR, PAR, PRR, PDR, CDR).
-Experience with the RMS Common Operating System (COS) and Hardware Performance Management (HPM).
-Strong focus on continuous improvement.
-Previous L-Code leadership experience.
