Software Integration Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Software Integration Engineer to support our customers' Technical Engineering and Design Department in support of the United States Air Force customer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of tools and process to ensure the maximum availability, stability and health of the program's complex systems.

Responsibilities of the Software Integration Engineer:

• Will perform system monitoring and remediation of issues to ensure uptime requirements are met for the critical systems.
• Provide technical support to improve clients capabilities through the development and continuous improvement of the JFN and JMIE systems. (JFN: MLS operational architecture including nodes, hub, network, software baseline and CI/CD apparatus (e.g. IL-5 up to IL-7 Cloud.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting mechanism using commercial or customer dashboards for reporting overall system health and status.
• Provide software sustainment leveraging software configuration management controls and processes.
• Contribute to the design and development of automating the daily verification and validation of key functional capabilities.
• Support the automation of configuration management and the visibility into the status of CM across various environments.

Qualifications of the Software Integration Engineer:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience.
• Experience in automation tools and techniques, including configuration management and system validation.
• Experience with system monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk.)
• Experience with Virtualization: VMware, vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux KVM.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices such as continuous integration and development tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab Runners.)
• Experience with Kubernetes distros (RKE2, EKS, K8s, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Knowledge of application integration testing and automated testing frameworks.
• U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.
• IAT Level II certification.

Compensation of the Software Integration Engineer:

• Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000+ **based on years of experience**
