Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to support a company focused on delivering secure, mission-critical communication capabilities for government, defense, and intelligence customers. This position is on-site in Alexandria, VA. The Audio Visual Engineer will design, integrate, and support complex AV systems across classified and unclassified environments. This role directly impacts a 10-year national-security program supporting high-visibility command, control, and collaboration environments.

Responsibilities for the Audio Visual Engineer include:
- Integrate, maintain, and support secure AV systems across conferencing, command centers, and mission-critical spaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues in fast-paced, secure environments
- Lead implementation and lifecycle management of AV systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Cisco TelePresence, AV-over-IP, displays, projection, audio, etc.)
- Collaborate with system administrators, facilities teams, and stakeholders to plan and upgrade AV environments
- Travel 10-15% for installations, testing, and system troubleshooting
Required Qualifications for the Audio Visual Engineer include:
- 5+ years of AV engineering, integration, or operational support experience
- Expertise with Crestron/AMX programming, Extron, Cisco Webex/TelePresence, and AV-over-IP technologies
- Strong understanding of signal flow, schematic creation, and hands-on rack building
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Audio Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance (agency-specific review required prior to start)
Compensation for the Audio Visual Engineer includes:
- Salary Range:$100,000-$120,000 depending on experience
