Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an a results-driven and experienced Engineer to apply engineering principles to complex systems. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing technical requirements, executing detailed engineering work, managing projects through their full lifecycles, and translating complex data into actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, process understanding, compliance-driven design, and cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on engineering analysis and technical work to support a variety of industrial and institutional projects.
- Serve as a primary technical contributor, responsible for quantitative analysis, calculations, and interpreting technical requirements and specifications.
- Develop custom tools and processes to improve data accuracy, repeatability, and auditability of engineering analyses.
- Prepare technical memoranda, presentations, and guidance documents to communicate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable instructions.
- Lead and support cross-functional discussions between leadership, operations, and other technical teams to explain technical impacts and implementation considerations.
- Manage projects from conception through completion, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables, and coordinating internal and external resources.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct technical reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk identification for new project development.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and industry partners to meet business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing, consulting, or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in project execution, coordination, and management.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering analysis, problem-solving, and data analysis.
- Strong skills in technical documentation and writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multi-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Mathcad, AutoCAD).
- Strong scheduling, time management, and risk mitigation skills.
Clearance:
- Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline
