About the Role:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect cloud environments that are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance. Your expertise will drive the automation of deployment processes and the integration of cloud services to enhance operational efficiency. You will also monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution.

Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
- Implement containerization solutions using Docker to support scalable application environments.
- Monitor cloud environments using tools such as Splunk and Elasticsearch to ensure system health and security.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services and optimize application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve cloud strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or operations
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and scripting tasks.
- Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and its services.
- Knowledge of Java programming language for cloud application development.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
