About the Role:
As a Data Analyst you will play a role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Your work will support various departments by providing clear and concise data visualizations and reports that facilitate understanding and communication of key findings. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure data integrity and accuracy while continuously optimizing data processes.
Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. (No relocation assistance provided.)

Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain pivot tables and other analytical tools to summarize and interpret data effectively.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize programming languages such as R and SAS to perform advanced statistical analyses and predictive modeling.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and deliver customized analytical solutions.
- Monitor data quality and implement data cleansing procedures to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience performing data analysis and visualization
- Proven experience in data cleaning, data extraction, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and a statistical language (e.g., Python, R)
- Strong skills in creating pivot tables and using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in data analytics or business intelligence tools.
