About the Role:

The Senior Higher Education Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between advanced technological solutions and the unique needs of higher education institutions. This position is responsible for delivering expert guidance and strategic consulting to universities and colleges, helping them optimize their operational, academic, and administrative processes through tailored technology implementations. The consultant will collaborate closely with stakeholders to assess challenges, design innovative solutions, and ensure successful adoption of products and services that enhance institutional effectiveness. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and technical expertise, the role drives transformative outcomes that support student success, faculty engagement, and institutional growth.

Location: Remote. Must be located in DC, Virginia, or Maryland

Clearance Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Engage with higher education clients to understand their strategic objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
• Develop and present customized solution proposals that address client-specific requirements and demonstrate clear value.
• Consult on policy, process, and procedures to align with organizational goals
• Provide strategic guidance on higher education best practices and compliance
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements
• Utilize expertise in higher education operations to drive process improvements
• Support implementation and optimization of Salesforce platforms within higher education settings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting or solution delivery within the higher education sector.
• Experience utilizing Salesforce platforms within a Higher Education setting.
• Proven track record of managing complex client engagements and delivering technology-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of higher education institutional structures, processes, and challenges.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with enterprise software solutions such as ERP, CRM, or Learning Management Systems tailored for higher education.
• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools used in academic environments.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
